These paintings are the result of an artistic, compositional game meant to explore how accidental life occurences can create long-lasting memorable experiences. The rules are simple: a) compile a list of modifiers and put them into a pot; b) compile a list of nouns and put them into a separate pot; c) compile a large group of compositional doodles for selection; d) from each pot pull one modifier and one noun (don’t look while pulling); e) compare the pulled combination of modifier and noun with the compositional doodles to see if there is application agreement; and, finally, f) utilize color-coded and gray-scale alphabets to fill-out the compositions.
